Baked Brie with Apples + Honey

  • Yield: 8-10, as an appetizer 1x

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet, European Puff Pastry (thawed)
  • 1 (18-ounce) Brie cheese round
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp. water

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Unroll the puff pastry sheet, lightly roll the dough.
  3. Place the brie in the center. Fold the pastry up and around the cheese to cover. Press to seal.
  4. Beat the egg and water in a small bowl.
  5. Place on a baking sheet.
  6. Brush with the egg mixture.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown. Let stand for 20 minutes before serving.
  8. Serve with sliced apples (we use Granny Smith), honey and table water or lavash crackers.
